When this special couple asked me to capture their wedding day I was over the moon excited! Having known Ricky and Sam since Day 1, their love story has always been one of my favorites. Sam is an energetic sweetheart and Ricky is quick witted and funny as hell – the two of them together is electric! In talking with Sam and Ricky in the weeks leading up to the wedding, I learned that the two most important things were great weather and that everyone had as much fun as they did – And let me just say, the day was EVERYTHING that they dreamed of – filled with their closest friends and family, clear skies, full hearts and bountiful laughter.

Talk about your fairytale wedding! Sam and Ricky chose The Barn On The Pemi in Plymouth NH because “it had it ALL”. Perched on a secluded hilltop, the venue offers breathtaking mountain views, a breezy and bright greenhouse for an intimate ceremony, an expansive lawn for a cocktail hour filled with games and a newly restored two story barn… seriously, what more could you want?! The team from The Common Man Inn & Spa were an absolute pleasure to work and made sure that there wasn’t a single detail overlooked. And, Riverstone Florals made all of Sam’s flower dreams come to life with tons of greenery, geometrical shapes and seasonal bouquets. The couple was married by Ricky’s father, sharing personal vows and heartfelt promises to one another (I balled my eyes out but to be fair there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd). After the vows were sealed with a smooch, the festivities began and they continued late into the night (shout out to Dawson Entertainment, who threw a killer dance party!).
